Gangjin Baseball Park (GBP) in Gangjin City, Korea will be sending baseball teams to Sarawak to have them to train in Kuching during the Korean winter season.

 

An initial batch of 500 students will be in Kuching, starting October expected to stay in the capital city for a few months.

 

With the training programme available for Korean students, local students in around Kuching will also have a chance to be trained under the expert supervision of the GBP coaches.

 

A Memorum of Understing (MOU) confirming this sport programme was signed by the Assistant Minister for Tourism, Haji Hamden Ahmad the GBP President, Woo Soo Chang on September 15, 2009 in Gangjin City.
